Got to work intoxicated on alchool but didn’t get in, now I might loose my job?!?

Hey guys, I went to a show in my town this saturday and was scheduled to work saturday night at 8pm. The show was saturday so I went anyway after 2hours of sleep cause of night shifts. When we were done there, I went to work dropped off by my girlfriend, as soon as I’ve arrived I went to see my supervisor to tell her that I might be too intoxicated to work. I was right, she sends me home. I haven’t clocked into work and also didn’t try to get my way arroundto work my shift, simply went home. Now today I get a call from management. They wanna do an internal investigation as to what happened that night. They wanted me to tell my side of the story and when everything was done. They tell me what consequances I could then face, mind you I’ve been working there…

They tell me what consequances I could then face, mind you I’ve been working there 5 years now with a clean folder under my name, first fuckup in 5 years, Impressive I know haha. They tell me that I might be firred? and use as jurice prudence in the business. The only thing that could save my ass is if I join a program for alchool addiction or I dont know, I drank 7 beers that day within 5hours.. I get hammered after 7 beers and want to spend some money on a program? I dont drink usually so thats a first. Can someone care to explain how they can fire me cause I see no possible cause for it since I haven’t lied, haven’t clocked in so it’s like I was never there, but they told me cause I was on compagny land.. but I was, to let my supervisor decide what the best decision was.. well so far I’m on paid adminastrative leave for a week till they get their side together since RH on vacation.

Little info on the workplace:
This is union protected, I couldn’t have called in sick cause I had no more sick days available so they would’ve requested a doctors note to proove something I dont know, I was automaticly out the business hence I tought the best coursse of action would be to go see the shift supervisor and let her handle it. What do you guys think about this? BTW I dont need the job I know its a toxic work place, so I dont care what happens I just want some point of view from some RH guys and girls if possible, wanna know how the compagny could be thinking, right now my colleagues are pissed that I’m getting free vacation.
