So this is my first post and honestly I don't know if it counts but here I go.
So without giving away too many details, I work for a company that calls out and has people call in for the service we provide. I'm part of the team that calls out and my numbers haven't been the greatest but we've also been slow lately.
Well since my numbers are low I was told that I could be moved to a different department where I don't have to worry about the numbers. Well sure enough, I took that opportunity because honestly I like my job and the people I work with.
Well I wound up still doing the same job (until they hired someone to fill my position as it was kind of vital) for a bit until they found someone else.
Came in two weeks ago and was told that my numbers are too low and that they are gonna let me go because of that.
Honestly I'm kind of angry I didn't get anything in writing or recorded right when I was told that I could move departments and not worry about the numbers but I figured they would get it to me eventually because I almost never call out or show up late (without permission or proper notice). Guess being a loyal worker isn't as important as the quota.
Edit: Forgot to add that the only reason this happened is because they didn't want to hire anyone new.
