Graceless employer

30th May, fell off a ladder, when hedge cutting During the subsequent 2 weeks off: A) my boss messaged to say he'd up my hourly rate (£10-12.50) when I return. B) successfully applied for a new, full time, salaried job. Upon acceptance I delayed the starting date an extra week to work proper notice. Then when leaving, this afternoon, I indicated the change in my rate of pay, but I was told it'd be £10 My antiwork sentiment is for feeling under appreciated, after having given further consideration to an employer who has no less than exploited me. What saddens me most is the lake of grace and justice. I now feel I should have prioritised myself and selfishly not acted on any sympathetic moral duty.
