Great job opportunity but weird vibe from potential boss

So I was actively looking for other job opportunities (currently working but it’s a toxic work environment). I got called for an in person interview from another company in another city that’s practically almost an hour drive away. I had a good vibe from that team during the interview. They ended up liking me. I had that job offer. A day later; I noticed on Indeed that the same company was also hiring for a similar position in the city I am residing in. so I communicated my interest in this role as well to admin and I ended up getting that interview.

I went for that interview (in person). There were two guys in the interview. One was close to my age it appears and the second (my potential boss) was probably in his mid to late 60s. Let’s call this second guy weirdo.

I noticed that throughout the interview; weirdo would look down at my shirt. I ignored at first because i thought ppl don’t know where to look or they simply can’t handle continued eye contact.

Then after the building tour, he led me into his office. He talks more about what he does and brings up on screen dozens of spreadsheets. In the middle of explaining the spreadsheet, he asked if I’m married. I said no. Then he went to say that he has two grandkids.

I’m like okay…

Like I get it if someone is friendly but this is still interview day. I had to control the conversation and end it to escort myself out. He walked me out to the front door and continued talking.

When I went home, i couldn’t shake off that weird vibe.

Am I overreacting?

Edit: I’m on the west coast of Canada.
