Have been working at a very toxic and controlled work environment where we do everything for the doctor. All of his dictation, biopsies, setting up and closing for surgeries for very little pay, can't have a phone on you (I am a mom, need to be available in case of emergency). I was also told that I am too nice and the doctor prefers a nurse with “less personality” who makes “no mistakes”. Right, okay. Here's your resignation letter. Also got all the staff to disclose pay to each other and found some wild discrepancies not based on experience at all. That should be fun for him to deal with.
Start my new job in hospice, where kindness is a skill necessary to succeed and my soul can be fulfilled.
Wishing you all the best in your endeavors!!! I can't wait to turn this sucker in today. It's oddly the happiest I've been since I've started there!!!
