I am thinking about all the times that I was told that I have a “good work ethic”. At the time I was thinking that I was a great worker, turns out I was allowing myself to be overworked, underpaid, and exploited. We are fed all these lies that allowing ourselves to be overworked to death would make us “good workers”. What’s the point of being a good worker if we would only be rewarded with more work and little to no compensation?? In the end, having a “good work ethic” is bullshit.
