Have you been drinking?

I’m a pool manager at a country club. Our general manager was off for the day and had one of the older servers be in charge today. While I was eating lunch, she made an insinuation that I had been drinking before my shift. My response was pardon me and she said ‘by the way you’re walking and talking I’d say you’ve been drinking’ I told her that it was quite the accusation and that I would be informing our real general manager about it. Called my general manager about it and she proceeded to ask me, ‘well have you been drinking? XXX has been there for over 20 years and if she said that she must’ve had a reason’ since my general manager was not here and can not verify my behavior, she can’t say that I have not been drinking. GM now starts making it sound like it’s…
