Now I have a job where you have to buy your own tools. I didn't even apply to this job but it's all they offered me. Need a job for now so I took it. Wasn't told I'd have to shell out hundreds on equipment. Honestly I'm a bit miffed over it because I've got bills coming out soon and I've just finished paying off my debt so having to fork out on tools to do their work is a kicker. Luckily I've already got some of the specified equipment but I still begrudge having to use my expensive tools to carry out their tasks. Especially as I don't even like the job and have no intention of staying longer than I need to. So in a matter of months I'll have equipment I'll never use again but I can't say that to them now as I'll be out of work. Also for 5% above minimum wage lol
I'm hoping to leave and go back to studying as the last couple of years have taught me that I don't fit into modern working environments.
