$25-33/hr listed on Indeed.com. Filled out an email to the headhunter where he listed the base rate pay as $53000. Just got off the phone with the hiring manager (a 2nd go between the company and employee) and the offers were $13/hr for Tier 1 (call center), $16 (call center back up and escalation) and $20.75 for Tier 3/Network Engineer (also call center back up escalation). All parties would answer phones with overflow. I ended the phone interview and advised I had already been offered $53k annual by previous headhunter. She apologized that it was not accurate and these were very firm. I advised calmly that these were criminally low for the area and incredibly misleading as I was hoping to haggle closer to $60k as this was what my most recent job was paying. If the company wasn't using 2 headhunting agencies to pass around applicants I bet they could offer what was advertised.
Still fuming
