If you frequent r/CanadaPublicServants you'll be greeted with a bunch of memes about subway. Health Canada had an online townhall last week where an executive member shared a fun story of her return to the office. Part of the story involved going to subway! Where she met a lovely young man (whose a student) and was so grateful government workers are coming back downtown to the office as he gets more hours! ️️
The story didn't help ease wounds of the Canadian government working pawn class being forced back into the office when she mentioned she bought a new car because the transit system sucks!
The tone deafness of the elite on this townhall who are forcing everyone back into office even though there are rising rates of covid, buildings are not up to standards, very inefficient transit system, gas prices sky high, and increased efficiency reports from WFH..
THIS is why people are tired of working. The system is breaking and this pandemic has highlighted critical problems with it all.
This executive also went on a tangent on her Twitter page how she has been threatened and didn't realize how linked in profiles show who viewed your account (she's going on a witch hunt for meme makers?).
