I received the job offer and it was much more than I expected to the point that I’m alarmed
My last job started at $27, and increased annually to $32 – this new job pays $40 and also has $600 monthly in allowance for food and gas as a perk for all their employees
Ok $32 vs $40 may not sound like a lot but annually is a big difference!!! The establishment is beautiful too
I’m TERRIFIED of what stress a $40/hr job will entail!! I know it’s no doctor / lawyers salary but for ME it is a lot!!! Anxiety is blossoming anyone have advice ?!?!?
EDIT: In life I started out making 6.75 at a restaurant and life jobs were gradual stair steps up wage-wise, my prior job was a step of stress including past posts before about wanting to quit, posts of crying after I had quit (deleted for fear of someone from work finding me), so part of it to me is becoming intimidated by what they will expect or worried it might be overwhelming for me
