Hi Sub,
I am currently working as an independent contractor on a software development project. My employer and I had a call and came to a pay agreement of $10,000 over the course of 5 months. I have email confirmation of this as well as a signed SOW stating that this was my rate of pay and highlighting my responsibilities on the project. I have not been paid for the last 3 months and my employer just got back to me stating that they “accidentally” gave me a higher rate and the rate I am charging for would be for a more senior position and sent over a new SOW at only 1/3 the original rate. What would be the recommended course of action I should take to get the rate from my original SOW or am I just screwed?
