I work at a place that is known to be deplorable. My team lead said today that ass per our store manager, “don't bother requesting off on holidays. Holidays don't exist, you belong to Walmart and the public” I'm not even paraphrasing. We don't get holiday pay bonuses. We get 7 hours of PTO. What the fuck use is PTO you can't use to spend on at least minor holiday? Is this legal?
