So it is not new news that housing has gotten ridiculous in the last few years.
What are some solutions that people have? I think preventing corporations from being able to have for profit housing would be a good start and making it increasingly punitive for landlords to have more than one rental property along with their primary residence. So that you don't end up with one person owning ten houses.
I know some people who prefer renting to ownership because they prefer the flexibility and the lack of responsibility of repairs and such, hence saying maybe letting a small landlord have one rental before taxes on rental income becomes increasingly expensive.
What do you folks think?
Empty homes fines/ taxes.
No more blind bidding.
Banning foreign home buyers/investors.
