Seems everyone says the rent is too high. Is this due to a supply problem of housing ?
I thought well increase the supply to drive down prices, but doesn’t it cost fair bit to build housing ? There are the contractor labor fees, the material costs, even fridge, stove and dishwasher has to be manufactured at a cost. So how do these costs get paid for ?
Suppose land was free what is basic minimum amount to build a 1500 sq foot house that is just a normal house ( pass building codes and not some shack slapped together )
