“Investors” (more like feudal lords) are buying up ridiculous amounts of properties. They're always looking for the next big deal. Apartment housings, huge farm lands for crops, hospitals and doctors' offices, even streets. How is that legal? We are at a point in history where there is as few “free” land as ever. The consequence of this is that we will need to work for the people that own most of it. Just because they got the money and some papers giving them right, they can call enormous amounts of land their own. This is starting to become like a feudal society, like in the middle ages, where we have to work our crops all day every for 12 hours, and give our feudal lords 90% of our crops so that we can live on their land and they “protect” us. Only that they don't even do that. And when people like that hold the power, than we're nothing more than “how much money can this person earn me?”. If we cannot bring these land lords any money they won't see value in us and not care about us.
The thing we have to do is fight it! Not give up apartments and houses we own! Buy our own properties and houses, live there, have our own crops in our gardens if possible, be energy independet by solar panels for example. We need to seek to be independent. I know it is not possible for everyone. But buying your own house is so much harder than selling your house. Renting is a complete scam for the most part. Sure it has its advantages in some cases. But in most cases we just give somebody money, and we will never see that money or its value ever again!
