Hey there I started doing some job hunting here in South Africa and I cant understand how citizens can live. the entry level work pays (Rand to Dolar) R3500 = $239.57 now if I where to lay out my actual expenses for 1 person
Food and toiletries: R1500 = $102
Healtcare/healthinsurance: R750 = $47.9
Cronic medication: (healthcare wont pay) R550 = $34.22 (circumstantial to others ofcourse)
Gas (car): R2000 = 136.90 ,if public transport (Taxi) R1.200 = $82.14 (before Russian sanctions)
Car insurance: R2400 = $164.28
Rent on a small Apartment: R5300 = $362.78
Water and electricity for small apartment: R2000 = $136.90
Internet: R600 = $41.07
Cellphone: R400 = $27.38
TOTAL: R15 500 = $1060.95
This excludes life insurance, hospital bills, pets, savings, loans, hobbies and fast food.
This to me is absolutelly deplorible and really should be made aware off and something needs to be done. A store will pay that and the CEO will make R3 million = $2044065.00 a month and the entry wage worker only R3500 = $239.57 and people will say there is no money. what a lie.
A lot of the problems in the USA seams to be mirrored here in South Africa in reltation to this.
P.S I appologize for any grammatical and spelling errors, also the wage's are pulled from the net related to big chain stores (I wont mention wich but this can be seen across the board)
