How do boomers look at the wealth disparity in this country (USA) and think that the system they created doesnt need changing

Minimum wage in 1970 was $2.40, average mortgage payment was $120 Today minimum wage is $7.40, average mortgage payment is almost $1,200 The suppression of wages is an absolute joke. And I don't understand how people are still defending this shit system we have built
