One of my coworkers was discussing the possible overtime one would make if they came in for overtime. I almostly immediately did some quick math in my head and found out that they get paid more than me despite me having about 3 months on them for the same position, as well as older and with more qualifications.
I then remembered I had seen an ad for the opening at my current place of work online when searching for other jobs in my area I could apply for. It turns out that was the same wage I had seen, which confirmed the math I did previously.
I don't really know what will come of it but I just want to tell everyone else I make less than them for doing the hardest physical work while doing physical therapy for an injury/physical impairment than took me over a month to get accomodations for. I probably won't get a raise. In fact, I know I won't. But I just want people to know what I'm going through compared to them.
