How do I explain to my dad why no one will apply to the jobs we post?

I’m the manager for my family’s company. We’re a small company with less than 10 employees. One of our long time employees is leaving to work where they’ll make $5 more an hour, great benefits, and retirement. No one is upset over this and I’m super happy for them. I can’t be upset over someone bettering themselves. They gave us a months heads up and we told them if things don’t work out, they’ll always have a job here. The offering will be around $11 an hour ( I make $12.50 an hour). We work week days from 7-5 with a little change in schedule with depending on what is planned for the week. The work isn’t difficult, just monotonous. We cap out earned pto at 40 hours a year, and offer no other benefits. How can I explain to him that it’s doubtful that we’re going to find anyone to work with what we’re offering?
