I just started and office job. I was stupid and actually told them a salary I would accept. They gave me exactly what I asked for.
Another worker has been here 7 months. They do yearly reviews in March so I missed that. They do 90 day reviews for everyone at that point tho…
She began her job at 5k more than me. She got another bump at her 90 days. She got another bump at her yearly reviews.
I want to get at least 5k more when I get to my 90 day review. She had prior experience so I get why she started with more. After I prove myself 5k more per year makes sense. Right?
How do I ask for that??
I feel like I’m coming to this company as a rescue dog. I’m so used to working for abusive toxic AHs… I feel super lucky that this place is actually nice.
