So I got offered a new job today which I start in about a week and I am so excited about as it's double the pay and a much nicer role…I want to quit my current job tomorrow and just have a weeks break between jobs.
I don't have a notice period as I never signed a contract for my current job so I can just quit but I am happy to at least finish the week but how do I go about this without being guilt tripped into doing 2 weeks notice?
I just know my manager will be petty and passive aggressive, not to mention that if I do stay the week, she will make these last few days hell for me.
I just need some advice on how to word it that I quit without notice but without upsetting her.
