Hi all. I need some advice.
I’m in the office two days a week, and on those days, I like to save my one hour lunch, that I get, for the end of the day. Helps me avoid the commute crush.
The other day, my supervisor emailed me saying thanks for completing a massive project so fast- oh and take lunch in the middle of the day, per our handbook policy.
Well I checked the handbook. Went over it twice. Used the search function in the PDF for “lunch” and “time off”.
Zip. Zero. Nada.
How do I express (politely) that I checked, the 11-2 rule is not IN the handbook, and that I would like to take my lunches at a time that suits me?
