I work in education and there is a lot of emailing and various appointments for me and my colleagues to do. However, we also have a passive-aggressive manager who will manipulate things, even though she knows it is going to piss people off. For example, she has given me late afternoon appointments, even though she knows I prefer the morning ones. Also, like all shit managers, she will seletively reply to emails or ignore them and reply several hours later.
I don't know the best way to “play” her i.e. if I start ignoring her emails she'll get arsey; likewise if I ask for morning appointments (which I have done) she'll come back with some bullshit about how people need to be available at different times etc.
