I work at a daycare as the lead teacher. We have a curriculum coordinator whose job is to shop for supplies. We turn in our lists on certain days and she does all of the shopping at once. I turned my list in 3 days before the deadline and put the date on it, but after her usual shopping day, I never received supplies.
I just asked her about it, and she said, “you never turned it in.” I said, “yes, I turned it in on Wednesday.” She said “no you didn’t.” I pointed at the supply list tray sitting in her desk with my list right on top of it and said, “It’s right there with the date on it.” This woman looked me in my face and said, “No it’s not, but here, take it and make whatever changes you need and turn it back in for the next time I go shopping.” And handed me my supply list back.
Either she’s really stupid or just can’t handle being wrong.
