This isn't necessarily antiwork but I figured you guys might know. My work won't let me go overtime right now because apparently the law limits the amount of overtime you work yearly and we want to save this overtime allowance for a busier time of year. I did some googling and didn't see anything about this yearly limit. I did read that employees can only work 8 hours of overtime a week, which to me seems to make the 20 hour a year limit pretty unreasonable. I'm in California btw.
