How many of you like hanging out with coworkers after work?

My question comes because I started a new job this past month and I found out that they do a monthly “team building” exercise after work. Right now they're trying to schedule the one for the month of May. The activity itself sounds fun but the idea of having to spend more time with coworkers after work without getting paid does not. Life is extremely busy as it is and thinking of shuffling personal activities that are scheduled to give in to the pressure of joining in office activities seems hard. I am the youngest in the office so I'm not sure if it is just me that doesn't want to join in the activities, it's a generational thing, or something else. So I'm curious, how many of you do like to join in these after work activities?
