How should I proceed?

Taking a week off to visit family. I get msged by 2 coworkers via FB messenger telling me we’re starting mandatory overtime the day I return (an hour early). They know I’ve seen their messages, which likely means my leads know that I know, and in all likelihood it’s probably true. Now I expect I can do the extra hour even after a long AF commute back the day before, but I’ve had coworkers at a previous job pull pranks on me including telling me we had to show up early, then when I arrived nobody was even at work yet and my supervisors, who thought my misfortune was funny, wouldn’t let me work early anyway. Should I show-up at my normal hour since not only did I not get the order from an official company rep, but I also wasn’t notified before I left? I don’t have a company handbook on me so idk what leeway I have. All I know is I didn’t hear it from an official source.

In retrospect, I need to ignore chats/emails from coworkers, but as often as I’m off this rarely happens.
