How the fuck does this company function??

I started working for a production company this year to help with a lot of things. I did assessments my first couple months, met with a lot of people, and created a list of things we needed to do to be more efficient based on feedback and collaboration. However, even after having met everyone’s needs and helping departments compromise with each other and starting with baby steps nothing is changing. I’ve even reached out and asked what I could do differently, if something doesn’t make sense, or if there wasn’t enough detail provided. Things are always late or moved around last minute. People don’t communicate with the right people so whole departments are left out. Absolutely no one is flexible but everyone is still expecting everyone else to change. I’ve pointed out that the issue is lack of accountability and trickle down communication; to which I’ve been told that “things…
