So I've worked for a garage door company for little over 2 years now. I have gotten a number of raises but they really arent keeping up with the expense of living these days (shocker). I am waiting on a union list for another career but in the mean time I cant survive on my current pay anymore. I live about an hour from work so gas is already killing me.
My solution is to tell my boss how much I want in a raise (about 2.50 more than i make now) and the ability to take the truck home. I strongly believe I can easily get those from another job but I don't want to deal with finding a new place if i dont have too, but i am willing.
Im just stuck on what to say or how to ask for these things. I could go on all day about this guy but at the end of the day I just want my objectives heard.
