So I'll try to cut this story as short as possible
I'm currently working as a HelpDesk of an IT Company. It has nothing to do with what I actually wanna do (sysadmin ie system administration) however I took this job because ironically the job pays well in my country but it has nothing to do with my long term goals, in fact I thought it would have more to do with IT than it actually does lol
So even tho the pay is pretty good, my boss expects me to work like a robot. He doesn't pay me nearly enough to toil like a slave. And no, I can't put on a fake smile during every damn phone call with clients when I'm severely chronically ill and have to work a job and study at the same time just so a few years down the line I'll get to work the job that will pay me very good and I'm gonna love
How do I communicate to him I'm not getting paid so much I'm willing to work my ass off like a robot and he needs to stfu and get off my back and that I'm here for the paycheck (which sounds rational to me?) and nothing but the paycheck?
