I usually have my phone on my desk so I can see notifications, and right now, I am surrounded by empty seats on my row in an open-office hellish environment, so can at least use/touch it somewhat freely. However, from tomorrow, my department is being moved to another floor where desks are narrower, and there are people in front, behind, and to the sides of you.
My question: is there a sneaky way I can get the phone off my desk and into my hand/pocket/something so when I steal away for a coffee break or whatever, I can get some sanity, without being noticed and snitched on? Or should I just give up and keep it in my pocket?
