Think of a hormonal teen getting irate because they haven't got their own way…but put that attitude in the body of an adult who isn't showing any signs of growing out of it.
The nature of the job is reasonable – it's not outrageously taxing, I still have time to myself in the evenings…but the politics, oh the politics… The actual manager is decent, she's happy to all individuals out (me, the team, the difficult person), she understands how unreasonable this other person is…but there's only so much she can do unless any of us file a complaint (and there are people who regard that as the 'next step').
Sometimes I am quite certain that I'd have better luck [doing a metaphorical thing which might be against the rules so I won't say it] against a brick wall.
Any thoughts?
