My coworkers and I have been talking about how to get paid more because our company is seriously underpaying our department. I leave my LinkedIn open to recruiters and I had one reach out with the same type of position, except that it pays 50% more and is in a city 2 miles away where the cost of living is lower. I'm looking for thoughts about how best to convince management that a market adjustment is necessary? We're all happy working there, but I definitely wouldn't be opposed to moving for that much of an increase.
We have several ideas already, but I just want to make sure we're not gonna get siderailed by something we didn't expect.
