Hey there! I am currently an intern in my 3rd month at an internship, the internship is about management your own lender business. As an intern my job is the same as the assistant managers (there are 2 of them) try to get as much production as possible. We also get bonuses if we meet certain criteria, and I qualify for them as well! I’ve been doing EXCELLENT and have received a 2$ raise already. One of the assistant managers has been giving me a very hard time, she has stolen loans from me, does unethical things to prevent me from getting opportunities, and is overall very rude. I know she’s jealous, she’s been in this business for 5 years, and in my 3rd month I am already reaching above her goals, even with her trying to prevent that. I have brought this up to my main manager, and he just says thing like, “Oh that’s just how _____ is… I would just let it slide so she’s not upset!” He’s always taking her sides… I like to call my self a yes man, if I’m working for you, WHATEVER YOU need you’ll get a yes from me! When my branch manager was out for a week, she was In charge. She complained to him that I was not doing my tasks as told and that we had poor communition. Which is completely false, I did everything she asked of me, and we actually got along really good this week! I was shocked when he told me these were her complaints!!
Our boss said who ever in the office has the most loans the week he is gone, will get a 100$ gift card. When he was asking our numbers, She wouldn’t answer until I did, and after I did, she said the same exact number as me. I had 12 loans, while she only had 7 that week. I went into the system and checked, (he doesn’t check, he trusts her) and when she was answering, she looked at me and said that I better not lie about my number, that she can check.. which is the whole reason I checked..
I am upset, I can’t even lie. I don’t know how to proceed.. should I bring this up.. or will I just hear more excuses?
