I turned in my two weeks notice and told my boss that I'm leaving because of his lack of management and allowing my lead coworker to manage us. She has caused me to be the 4th person to leave within 2 years. My boss is a MBA and manages clinicians (nurses), so he lets my lead run the department. Anyway, my boss said it was my fault for not getting along with her. My lead usually always lists me the things she expects me to do. Then I receive a long email from my boss of duties to do before I leave. This was the MOST UNREASONABLE list ever since it was so much. My boss refused to approve my PTO request to be off during my two weeks. This job has taken a mental toll on me.
Yesterday, I packed 75% of my stuff. I have about 15 binders of papers in my cabinet in my cubicle. I also have around 20 papers posted on my cubicle with pins, and I took them all off except 5. I packed early because I'm moving out of city and need to pack all my stuff in boxes. I don't have much time left. Today, I am off on PTO for a doctor's appointment that I requested a long time ago. HR called and asked if I am leaving or not because I packed ALL my stuff. I felt frustrated because I didn't pack ALL. Furthermore, I feel that my lead went through my cabinet because she was able to tell HR that all my items are gone. My boss is in a different building and has never came to my building. We always go to him, so it can't be him.
I have a 2 weeks and a half notice and will be leaving in two Friday. I feel like leaving early at this point.
