Like the title says an HR rep called me about a safety specialist position.
Only got about halfway on my current duties/programs I’ve written and training/certifying I do.
The HR rep said “I wanted to stop you there and ask what compensation you were looking for”
I told them at MINIMUM I’d even consider was $85,000 a year.
They said “not sure how but this is a entry level at $20”
They did add me on LinkedIn and said they’d contact me if a higher position in the safety department opened up and was close to My desired starting pay range.
