Interesting thought. I work for a company that pays an hourly wage and also a bonus $2-$5 for billed hours. Of course they control your billable hrs completely! They also throw up efficiency and productivity numbers up for everyone to see. Remember these jobs and hours are completely under their control. Knowone knows the algorithm. The manager can book whatever they want to you. I have to beg for work, because I like to stay busy. I calculate I made $2.50 an hour (2080 hr/yr) @$5/hr bonus pay. I'm ranked the highest for efficiency in my location.

The only one who wins is the employer. Been with them for 14 months no raise. Did I mention I'm the highest ranked.
