people saying you need to work for a living. This is an interesting (and terrible) position to others not part of this sub. However, I believe that humans have value just by existing (same with other life). Most work is all bullshit. A lot of you would dream of having a doctors salary of 300k, however doctors kill themselves routinely, have no life outside of work, and are depressed as shit. They make a noble sacrifice however, usually not motivated by money (they take debt, don't start earning till around 35, ect…). My point is that society does not value humans for being humans. I get it. Maybe we do NEED some work to function. However, nobody wants to work at Burger King their whole life. For all I care those places can fuck right off. We need a UBI (enough for housing & food), better healthcare (enough to cover medical bills especially for major surgical procedures) in the US, and to start treating everyone regardless of race, political opinions, etc. as human fucking beings. If someone wants to live their life doing nothing, I think they should be able to. Ya'know, lots of people I think will step up to the plate if given the chance, however.
