My wife got it 2 weeks ago. A few days later, our toddler got sick. Then a few days later I got sick. This meant that for the first time in the 2.5 years of my son's life, we were together as a family for more than two days in a row.
My son was taking a bath last night and we were all together laughing having a wonderful time. I said the words before I even realized what I was saying “I'm so sad we're all better.” And then I just started crying (I'm not a man who normally cries).
My boss owns a second home in France and we can't spend time together because we don't get vacation or sick time. It shouldn't be like this…
