I asked for a cost of living raise a month ago. Still haven’t been given answer. So now, I’m going to make sure they pay EVERYONE. (Unionizing)

Are there any unions out there that don’t give the due money directly to a political party? So far the most frequent response here from my co-workers is “F that I hate the (political party). “ If my employer tries to get me fired for trying to start a union here am I protected by law? Should I be open about my idea to unionize or try to keep it a secret Lastly, would anyone have a suggestion as to what it the “best” union to join. Thank you all in advance. Enough is enough I’m tired of feeling like I don’t matter and that my life’s souls purpose is to make this company rich.
