Antiwork

I asked my manager’s to not schedule me with a coworker. Also, some plasma donors are the worst, most self entitled customers to deal with.

It’s been almost 2 years and there’s no change and they’re not doing much to make it easier to work. Coworker nurse keeps taking 2 – 1 hour lunch break, comes in late, disappears during shifts and takes a long time to evaluate donors (meaning you get 3 people for every 1 person she sees). She’s taking a medical leave to take care of her sister which I completely support. She’s coming back in April and my mental health can’t handle the stress of her coming back and I’ll be back to dreading coming in to work. They didn’t hire anyone so we’re left to deal with short staffing. Another coworker nurse calls in sick every other week. Im burned out (so is the other 2 nurses who works with me) and managers are not doing anything about staffing. I am waiting for another job working from home but it’s…

I actually feel bad leaving my coworkers to deal with short staffing once I get the contract because I’ve been here for 6 years and I got to know them pretty well. Nurses are stressed and/or burned out!

There’s a rumor that she’s related or good friends with quality staff. Nurses are also hard to find because they don’t pay us that well compare to other plasma center. I don’t want to burn bridges with these people (management) who I see more than my husband and kids.

Plasma donors will be coming in 1 minute before we close and doesn’t give 2 cents that it’ll take more than an hour to donate because they wait last minute to donate. But if you change your closing hours 3 hours early due to holiday, they’ll somehow be here early.

Maybe I should post this on rant instead.
