I can’t cope with the existentialism of working forever

I'm 18 and I just started the second job I've ever worked. Before I worked in a café for three years and it was enjoyable as I was able to interact with regulars and I was just working with one other person who owned the place. I've been working at my second job at a Deli and it has been really hard. First of all they advertised 10.50 euro an hour (the minimum wage in Ireland) but I'm only receiving 9.00. the minimum wage for 18 year olds is 8.40. When I got my first paycheck I was seriously demotivated seeing the amount of money I made. I also didn't get paid for 6 hours that I worked “to test out the job.” I feel as if I have been thrown into the deep end.
