I recently got a job that I was very excited about. I was trying hard to do well. Apparently one of the people there was gunning for the job for a while (i was assistant manager) and she made up a bunch of complaints from people about how I was lazy, didn’t pick up the phone when needed, never helped her out, etc. I literally stayed an hour over when I was supposed to to help her do stuff and offered to stay longer but she said not to. I was told today to either be demoted or I can give my two weeks. I’m genuinely devastated because even after I told him all this the manager didn’t believe me. Idk if this fits in this sub but I agree with what you guys say all the time and just needed to vent
