I don’t want to work because I don’t have to anymore…

So I retired from the military and have a pension that makes me about $4,000 after taxes. I’m also permanently disabled, so it’s hard for me to leave my home. My wife thinks I should get a remote job and work from home but I don’t thinks it’s worth trading my freedom and time for money I feel like I don’t need. I own my house and live comfortably off of half my income. Her “reasoning” is that if I can play on computer all day then I should be able to work. But I don’t feel like there’s a point. We make 125k combines and travel regularly. We also have no children. Why does she want me to make more than we need?
