I work as a pizza delivery guy in Italy. I get paid 7€ an hour after tax and barely make any tips since it's not a demanded thing here luckily, unlike in The US where they need tips to survive and other people working minimum wage too feel obligated to tip (But that's another story)
Recently my boss raised the pay because we just weren't motivated to work with all the inflation that's going on and received a 14% raise and now make a 8€ an hour.
Meanwhile my boss can barely keep living and has two child that needs therapy that he can't afford. And he also lives and houses provided by the government because he couldn't be able to rent or buy one.
I know I can't do nothing and ofc I'll accept the pay raise but it just makes me sad.
