So I don’t work a 9-5 job and I knew this already before signing the contract.
I had a hard week, sleep deprived, and expect to work over the weekend as well. And that’s basically the same case for my colleagues (at least so they claimed).
Today my manager asked me to take on another sh*t load of work. I argued with her and said no. She eventually backed down
Thing is, I feel extremely guilty after refusing to do the extra work – guess someone else will eventually have to do it and make their life (even more) miserable.
I just wonder if I should feel this way… I wanna protect myself from another sleep deprived week but that’s at the expense of other people…
Guess since I’m posting here, I already know the answer somewhat…
