I feel that my manager is over reacting about my fit note.

We have been working from home for over 2 years now and my manager made up a rule that we all need to be in the office at least one day per week (even though most people in other teams aren’t doing this). I’ve been struggling badly with anxiety so it’s difficult for me to go in and I explained all of this to her and let her know that I have an appointment on 2nd August where I’m hoping to increase the dose of my meds, hopefully after that I would be in a better place and able to go to the office more. As usual she brushed it off and still went on about how she wants me to go in, so I got a fit note from my doctor saying that I require temporary adaptive working so that I can work from home until I get my…

She was really arsey with me and has now referred me to occupational health – I don’t understand why that’s necessary when I will still be working as normal apart from going in the one day a week, and it’s only temporary!

Now I’m more anxious waiting to see what happens with OH.
