I was making 14.49 an hour and got bumped to $15.00.
I was asked today if I could cover for a coworker that was sick. When I didn’t answer my Manager texts and calls and they let me know I could just come in for two hours.
Oh so I get to make $30.00 whole dollars!!!! How about fuck you and fuck off.
Kinda side note, the company I work for has several locations and wants us to always post photos and content to our Instagram page. I happened to be posting a photos when I see one of the owners posing for a photo with his wife for our recent sale. His wife had a $3,000.00 Yves Saint Laurent bag yet i got a .51 cent raise.
The owners sister, who is also an owner recently posted many photos of her recent trip to Maui. Yet I got a .51 cent raise.
Then when I started to complain about only getting a .51 cent raise my Junior manager said well hey at least they gave us something! I looked at my Junior Manager and said I wanted more, is that wrong, and walked away.
Lastly we have this delivery drive that drops products and other shit off at our store. The delivery drive is a cousin to the owners. The Junior Manager was complaining to the delivery driver about how they sold four $679.00 items for the store and they said they wished that they could be rewarded for it. The delivery driver said well isn’t it supposed to be your employees sell products to customers so the owners can make money! Isn’t that what it’s suppose to be? Isn’t that what America was built on.
Oh? I didn’t know that being a wage slave was just what being an American was about. The fuck type of propaganda bulllshit is that man preaching.
