I had a good job and I threw it away

21M, college student. I had a good job as a banker, up until a few days ago. I was forced to quit because of an absolutely toxic manager + supervisor. The work was easy as fuck but these people would micromanage the shit out of me, constantly whine and complain about the most insignificant things, and threaten to fire me every single day. Their expectations were absolutely insane and pointless. The customers were absolutely stupid and brain dead because the job is in a ghetto crime infested shit hole. I couldn't stand working with those two people. Everyday I would dread going to work because of them. I couldn't stand working with those two people. Everyday I would dread going to work because of them. Literally look at my post history and see how many times I've complained about this job on this subreddit. It was making me suicidal. The job paid good enough for me only being 21, and I got hired even though I have only retail experience. Every other company rejected me. If I actually had good managers and supervisors I would've stayed and had something great to put on my resume. Now I have to settle for some shitty retail or barista job because the job market in my area is total shit.

On one hand I'm glad I'm out of that toxic environment, but on the other hand that was my first corporate job. I could've actually went somewhere from there, even something that isn't banking. Just my shit luck that I had to get such an abusive manager and supervisor fml.
